Interviewed by Thiago Luiz Ticchetti
The Bible contains stories of beings, angels who descend from heaven, which are sometimes associated with unidentified flying objects – UFOs, such as the “pillar of cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night” that led the Jewish exodus from Egypt. This UFO is similar to modern UFOs, such as the famous Tic Tac. Could the UFOs seen in modern times be related to the same reality recorded in the Bible, in both the Old and New Testament forms?

What led you to UFO research?
I think that most of those who are interested in UFOs, ufology, and the phenomenon of ufology, started with a book. I started with my father's book, "Were the Gods Astronauts?" by Erich von Däniken. It was my first book on the subject. It's not really about the UFO phenomenon, but it revolves around that subject. And Reverend, in your research, you talk about the extraterrestrial presence in antiquity, in the Bible. You say that many people no longer believe in the Ascension. Why is that?
